Funny how we instinctively know what do when we face them...
 
Get a nasty bump on the head? Put a pack of frozen peas on it. Or as my Grandma suggested - a lump of butter! 
 
Bumps in the road? Then slow down quick - you don’t want to take the bottom out of your car. 
 
Mozzy bites? Rub lavender oil on them.
 
Or bump into an old friend and we go grab a coffee (if they were a good friend), or say, ‘hey, we must catch up’ and keep walking (if they weren’t such a good friend).

Drives my family nuts.
 
But, when it came to starting my online business, my own personal brand, I was slooooow.
 
Too many fears. Not enough clarity. 
 
The usual excuses.
 
I have absolutely no regrets and I experienced bucket loads of learning on the delay  way… (and besides, it makes for a great topic on this week’s show)!
 
But it wasn't necessary. I could have started 10 years earlier!

Every day, around 7.30am, I take my golden retriever for a walk. He knows the route so well by now. We have a favourite park where I let him off the lead and as he runs he looks like a dog in a commercial... hair blowing in the wind and if we are lucky, sunlit from behind. Another wow-moment I smile at every single day.
